For those players who want to focus fully on one particular player on defense or offense on the field, the Player Lock feature plays a very important role in Madden 22. By using this option, you can focus on any normal franchise team or your franchise player. However, this feature is available only for Face of the Franchise and Franchise Mode. Let us find out more about what is Player Lock in Madden 22 Franchise Mode.
What is Player Lock in Madden 22 Franchise Mode?
The player Lock option lets you control just one player in the field. This is pretty easy especially when you are new to this game or you just like to control the only player in your defense or offense on the field.
While you are on the field and controlling any active NFL player or your own created player in Franchise Mode, you can use the player lock feature to keep the full focus on a particular player and let the AI run the other team members.
In order to use this option, start the game for either GM-oriented or Player-oriented mode and then go to the League Settings before initiating the mode.
Scroll down and search for the Full on-field control option in the Player Mode tab and then you can turn ON or OFF this option. When you set it ON, you will be able to control your entire team on the field. On the other hand, if you will set it OFF, the player will be locked in any position, whether you are an active or a custom player.
By default, the game is set to ‘ON’ so if you want to play this game with the Player Lock option, just turn it OFF.
