Warzone 2.0 was released a few hours back, and players have jumped into the game to explore every feature added to Warzone 2.0. This game has gained more popularity, primarily because it is free to play. Players don’t need to purchase the game. However, one of the most exciting aspects of Warzone 2.0 is the DMZ mode, and there are tons of things to explore in the DMZ mode. This guide will help players know about the Insured Weapons in Warzone 2.0.

Insured Weapons in Warzone 2.0 DMZ Mode- What are They?

The DMZ mode is introduced in Warzone 2.0 and has brought lots of new features to explore. Insured Weapons are among those features that may confuse players while playing Warzone 2.0 DMZ mode. DMZ mode has two types of weapons- Contraband weapons and Insured weapons.

Contraband weapons are the weapons players can get during the match- from the ground or the enemies. These weapons come with pre-set attachments and can’t be altered. Additionally, if you fail to extract these weapons and die, they will be lost.

Exactly, the opposite happens with the Insured Weapons in the DMZ mode. Insured weapon slots contain weapons that come with your custom build loadout, and you can get these weapons back if you die before you extract contraband weapons. These are the weapon slots that can always have your custom build weapons, though they get cooldown times if you die during a match, and you can’t use them until the timer ends. It is a great feature to get weapons with your preferred attachments, as contraband weapons don’t always have the attachments you want.

Insured Weapons in Warzone 2.0 DMZ Mode- What are They

As much as we know, there are three Insured Weapon Slots in DMZ Mode that players can fill with their custom build weapons. These weapon slots are not pre-unlocked. These slots need to be unlocked by completing objectives and leveling up DMZ’s specific factions. The first one is unlocked, but the next two needs to be unlocked. To unlock the second Insured Weapon Slot, players need to complete tier three of every faction, and for the third slot, players need to complete tier five of any faction.

That’s all you need to know about the insured weapons in Warzone 2.0 DMZ mode. It’s a bit risky because you’ll lose two slots if you die before extract, though temporarily.
