You can use Silver Coins to buy a plethora of items in V Rising and there are several ways to obtain these coins such as performing various scavenging activities, like fishing, mining or rummaging through chests.
With so many ways available to earn this special game currency, you need to know which methods and locations are the most profitable for you so that you don’t waste your time farming Silver Coins with the wrong method. Here is a guide listing down the best activities, locations and methods to get these Silver Coins in V Rising.
Silver Coin Location in the Game
You can obtain Silver Coins in V Rising through several methods, and one of the most common locations to farm this currency are the Dunley Farmlands, Gloomrot, and the Cursed Forest. Apart from these locations, you can look for Silver Coins through activities such as:
- Chests
- Haunted Villages in the Cursed Forest
- Bookcases and Drawers in Towns
- Human Enemies
- Fishing
- Silver Ores
But finding Silver Coins through these activities can be quite random and it isn’t consistent most of the time that’s why players can use other ways such as farming the coins through the Devourer method or with the help of a Fabricator.
Uses of Silver Coin in V Rising
Silver Coins are a bartering currency in V Rising, stolen by most traders all over the map. You can use them to spend with traveling traders, as well as traders located at such markets as the Dunley Farmer’s Market, Brighthaven Trader District, and other major trade hubs.
Merchants peddle all sorts of things depending on who you’re speaking to—recipes and seed planting all the way up to other useful materials. Just mind to put on your human skin first when you interact with them, though—coming in as a vampire will not be welcome.
How to Farm Silver Coins in V Rising
Apart from the locations and scavenging activities mentioned above, there are two other methods to obtain Silver Coins in the game: the Devourer Method and the Fabricator Method. Using either of these methods depends on your playstyle.
Devourer Method
You have to get the Devourer structure to use this method for farming Silver Coins. You can obtain 12 Silver Coins every time you’re using this method. Here’s how to use it:
- Defeat Lidia the Chaos Archer.
- With the help of Plank and Copper Ingot, place the Devourer in your castle.
- You can buy the Miner’s Mace from the Shady Goods Dealer in Farbane Woods with 18 Copper Coins.
- You can also defeat humans in the Bandit Copper Mine in Farbane Woods to get the Level 7 Miner’s Mace.
- Feed the Miner’s Mace to the Devourer.
(Note: The Devourer can be fed Lumberjack’s Axes for the same price. To obtain the weapon, defeat human enemies in the Bandit Logging Camp in Farbane Woods.)
Fabricator Method
Obtaining Silver Coins via the Fabricator method is easily the easiest and most direct way compared to others like the Devourer. After level 60, killing Ziva the Engineer will open up the Fabricator, a structure where you can produce Silver Coins from Iron Ingots and Silver Ore. The catch? By then, you may not use Silver Coins as much anymore.
How to Prevent Silver Sickness?
Silver Sickness is a status effect that inflicts damage over time while coins are held in your inventory, making trading runs a true headache.
To protect yourself, you can use a Coin Purse, which negates the negative impact of Silver Sickness. You’ll craft this handy item at your Leatherworking Station. Alternatively, craft a Silver Resistance Potion or Brew at your Alchemy Table—both provide varying levels of protection. If you have not yet opened up the table, you’ll need to defeat Clive the Firestarter, a fiery level 30 V Blood boss in the Farbane Woods.
