To unlock the Veil of Bones ability, you must find and defeat Bane the Shadowblade. Bane is a level 47 V boss found in Farbane Woods, and once you defeat him you can unlock this ability as well as the Human Form, Slasher weapon blueprint, and small coin bag.
Earlier you could unlock the Veil of Bones ability after defeating Goreswine the Ravager, but with the new update, you have to defeat the newer bosses to get new blueprints, recipes, and spells. The description of how to use the Veil of Bones is as follows.
“Dash towards input direction and elude nearby enemies for 2.2s. Your next primary attack deals 25% bonus damage and inflicts Condemn. Deals 50% additional damage to enemies below 30% health.”
This spell has a cooldown of 8 seconds and takes 0.45 seconds of cast time. It helps with travel and is a dash-type magic ability.
