Genshin Impact Version 3.2 is on the horizon and players are excited to finally pull for and play the Dendro Archon Nahida. Players are also excited for Dehya and Alhaitham as they’ve played significant roles in the Sumeru Archon Quest chapter. A recent leak reveals all upcoming characters in Genshin Impact up to Version 3.8 which is expected to be the last patch before the release of Fontaine in Version 4.0.
All New Character Releases Till Version 3.8 of Genshin Impact
According to previous leaks, Yaoyao was scheduled for release in Version 3.4 and she was expected to be a Pyro polearm user like Xiangling as they were both cooking partners. Recent leaks suggest she will instead be a Dendro polearm character.
Previous leaks also claimed Version 3.4 won’t release any new 5-stars but recent leaks suggest Alhaitham will be released in Version 3.4 as the new 5-star. He will be a Dendro sword user and his kit is said to have animations similar to Albedo’s kit.
We already know Scaramouche– the Wanderer is scheduled for release in Version 3.3 as an Anemo catalyst so that remains unchanged. The new 4-star in that patch will be Faruzan and she will wield an Anemo bow.
Mika was already teased in the Weinlesefest Festival in Mondstadt and he’s still being claimed as a Cryo polearm unit from Mondstadt which is rare because the residents of Mondstadt don’t generally use polearm weapons. He’s a 4-star character.
Finally, Kaveh is leaked to be a Dendro claymore user despite his impression of being a sword or bow user. He’s a 4-star who will likely be released alongside Dehya or Baizhu. Dehya is a 5-star Pyro claymore user and Baizhu is a 5-star Dendro catalyst user. Curiously enough, Baizhu has been listed as using a female model.
Two other leaked playable characters are Dottore who will be a 5-star claymore user and Soutine who’s a Hydro claymore user from Fontaine. We still don’t know Dottore’s element but he will most likely be Cryo or Hydro. With that, players should have a general idea of all the upcoming characters and thus manage their resources well if they want to pull for them.
