How to Start Try to clear the Abyssal corruption
Once you finish the “Adventure in the Land of Mists” quest in Genshin Impact, the “Palace of the Vision Serpent” quest will automatically start. Go inside the ruins and follow the quest markers to reach the “Core of Chu’ulel”. A short scene will play. After the scene, pick up the two glowing fragments.
Clear the first Abyssal corruption
Go along the path until you reach the glowing pillar. Put the special fragment on the pillar to purify the nearby dark rocks. This will clear the first abyssal corruption pillar.
Clear the second Abyssal corruption
Go to the next glowing pillar and you will find a small room with a lift. Go into the room and take the glowing fragment. Then use the lift to go down and leave the building. Keep going until you find another glowing fragment. Take the fragment and then leave the building. Turn left and climb the ladders at the small camp. Put both glowing fragments on the glowing pillar. This will clean the second dark corruption.
Clear the second Abyssal corruption
After you clean the second dark area, go back down to the camp. Then, use the broken stairs to reach the building to the north. Inside, you’ll find another glowing fragment. Put this piece on the glowing pillar with only one spot for a piece. This will open a path for you to go down. Jump down from the small platform and take the rusty key from the shelf.
Use the nearby machine to call the elevator and go up. Once you’re out of the elevator, take the glowing piece from the previous glowing pillar and go south. Use the rusty key on the machine to open the seal and take the glowing piece. Go back down and put both glowing pieces on the pillar. This will clean all the dark corruption.
