Content Improvements

(1) Content Improvements

– Reduced the cooldown for Outpost content from 60 to 30 seconds.

# Director’s Comments

With this patch note, we’d like to share the Dev Team’s reasoning behind reducing the Outpost cooldown to 30 seconds, along with our future plans for further improvements.

Stage 1: Outpost 30 Sec Reduction

Based on feedback, we’ve reduced the Outpost cooldown to 30 seconds. Completely removing the delay could make Outpost farming disproportionately more efficient than Infiltration Operations, potentially leading to less dynamic Outpost farming. With this change, the Outpost cooldown is set to 30 seconds, allowing you to enjoy smooth gameplay while maintaining efficiency similar to that of Infiltration.

Stage 2: Infiltration – Fragment – Fusion Reactor Farming Route Added

We recognize that the main problem with Outpost is forcing inconvenient reward acquisition, and lengthy 1-minute cooldown leading to tedious gameplay. To address this, we plan to enable you to farm Amorphous Materials not only in Outposts but also during Infiltration Operations. This update will allow you to choose between the Outpost – Fragment – Fusion Reactor or Infiltration – Fragment – Fusion Reactor farming paths, enabling farming without relying on Sharen. We aim to implement this change early in Season 2, and we’ll provide details as soon as the schedule is finalized.

Stage 3: Outpost Rework

Plans to rework Outposts are still under discussion. Following the addition of the new farming route (Infiltration Operation – Fragment – Fusion Reactor), we want to keep our options open for a variety of improvements.

Our goal is to completely overhaul the role and gameplay of Outposts, aiming to improve them so they become more engaging content with continuous battles.

We expect this change to lead to an increase in participation in Infiltration Operations.

Additionally, to resolve the issue of long matchmaking times in Infiltration Operations, we have made plans to introduce a random matchmaking feature.

With this feature, you will be able to earn rewards for completing the selected Infiltration Operation, while the dungeon itself will be randomly matched. The goal is to reduce matchmaking times and provide pleasant multiplayer experience.

We are preparing to implement the random matchmaking system on Season 2 update.

Besides improving the farming route for Amorphous Materials with the addition of the Infiltration Operation – Fragment – Fusion Reactor route, we’re always aiming to make efficiency improvements to farming as well as make it more engaging.

(2) UI & UX

– We have made improvements so you can adjust Module Settings immediately after completing an Infiltration Operation or Void Intercept Battle until right before matchmaking begins.

– The hold time for buttons for pop-up messages displayed under specific conditions has been reduced.

I am an avid gamer who loves to write about games. I started gaming with a copy of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Since then, I have fallen in love with games with a particular inclination towards Call of Duty titles.

  • So when we going to fix adding friends and having a friend’s list, I can’t even add people or people can’t add me, making this game hard to play.

  • I would like to see a change to shape stabilizers as in their current form they don’t seem to work that well or are all that useful. It would be awesome if I could use a shape stabilizer to remove one of the possible reward options from amorphous patterns to improve my odds. One step further, I’d like to be able to remove up to 4 options at a time so that I can guarantee the reward of my choosing.

The shape stabilizers should stay in the loot pool, but as a concession I would support the item being sold in the store individually or in packs of 5.

    • So you think it’s feasible to completely remove the odd of getting something? All because you don’t like the odd of you getting it? Just how many Shape Stabilizers do you think they should make you use to grantee that you get the item that you want? Honestly using just 4 Shape Stabilizers is way to low of a number to grantee the item.

  • Could yall please fix the drop rates of code breakers. Spending 3 days for 2 purple code breakers is abysmal. Not to mention the 4 layers of RNG for enzos trans mods.

    • What missions are you doing for them? I’ve been getting quite a few just running infiltration ops. I also farmed Anticipated Ambush Point a bunch the other week and currently have like 18 ultra code breakers

    • This was driving me insane as well but, I have since learned, unequip all other bonus drop rate Equipment (Equipment, module, etc drop rate increase) and equip -only- Consumable increase at the highest rate you have. I did this and the amount of code breakers I receive from the 30 seconds mission near rockfall portal has increased exponentially. I get at least one code breakers per run, every few I’ll get 2, and seems like a purple within 5 with back to back purples here and there. My last session of farming them, about 1.5 hours, I got 8 ultra-precision code breakers. This was a lot for me, very lucky, but it comes in waves it seems. But, with bonuses to all drops equipment on at the same time, I was getting next to zero code breakers at all, let alone ultra-precision ones. Hope this helps and good luck!

  • Could y’all check to see if derelict outpost rewards are bugged in Echo Swamp on ps5 there’s no way I’m using Sharen stealth and all my rewards are 2 guns and a mod.

  • This is the worst season I’ve ever seen in a game. If it continues like this it won’t last long. After today’s update, I just gave up on this game.

  • Hope harder difficulty eventually spread further to map content – missions/reactors/outposts etc and colossus battles as well.
P.S. pls fix Hailey coloring on her skins (desert and pink), some slots paint questional objects, some very similar objects and it results in some important parts not being an option to apply color on.

  • Solo play Is the worst idea that dev can Imagine for a cooperative game. Hope that this thing can change as soon as possibile.

    • I agree with you there. Unless you are a bunny with a meta build the new content. Im already thinking about dropping this game.after dumping 250+ hours into it.
Who wants solo play in a multi player game. Its complete madness.

    • Honestly, I some what agree with you. Letting CO-OP happen would be good. However There is a lot worse things that can, and most likely will happen if they make these Invasion Missions Matchmaking. I can already see everyone crying about Matchmaking for them now. People leaving if the other person is not a Bunny, or Valby, all because they want to be Carried through this content like they did everything else. Players for the biggest part refuse to use in game voice even if it is just to hear what’s being said. Players will do whatever they want to do no matter the mechanics of them, because for the ones wanting to be carried don’t care win or lose they will just queue up for it again til they get the results they are looking for.
