The quests in Starfield can get confusing to some, as certain objectives don’t have a clear direction. One of the quests called Accidents Happen has an objective that does not offer any explanation. To plant the arc device, make your way to HopeTown in Polvo and enter HopeTech. The entrance can be found on the right side. Once you are inside, make your way to the industrial section past the door. You now need to run to the end of the room, then take the stairs here to go up. You will soon reach a container, and once you are inside turn right and keep going. At the end of the tunnel you will find a ladder that will lead you up. Once you are up, you will find the machine on your right and you can plant the arc device here.
Sometimes, you might encounter guards walking around while trying to plant the arc device. In case you do get caught, you can pay the fine or attack them. Whichever option you pick, once the arc device has been planted, you can talk to Imogene and complete the quest.
