During the quest Unearthed, you need to make a choice towards the end. You have to choose who would rather keep the artifact. You can pick between the Hunter or the Emissary. Whichever choice you pick, you have to fight the one who you have denied the artifact to and obtain the legendary weapon from their corpse. If you wish to get the Unmitigated Violence, you should support the Emissary during the dialog choices. You should pick the option that tells that the Emissary is right and the artifact belongs to them. This will put you in a fight against The Hunter, and you can claim the Unmitigated Violence from his body after defeating him.
To get the Eternity’s Gate instead, you need to do the opposite. Support the Hunter and fight the Emissary to get the weapon. If you wish to get both weapons, you can do that too. There is an option where you can claim they are both wrong. But you should be prepared to fight both enemies this time, and once they are down, loot the weapons to claim them as your own.
