Warzone 2 DMZ offers a variety of missions for players to complete, each with different objectives. Missions vary by faction and tier, with a total of 5 tiers and 5 factions. The Redacted faction’s Tier 2 mission, ‘Reconnaissance by Fire’, requires players to kill a certain number of enemies using specific scopes. Reconnaissance by Fire DMZ Guide
Reconnaissance by Fire is a Redacted faction’s Tier 2 mission which has 3 objectives for players to complete:
- Kill 7 cartel AQ soldiers with a Kastov 762 with a DF105 Reflex Sight equipped
- Kill 7 cartel AQ soldiers with a Kastov 762 with a VLK 4.0 Optic equipped in the same deployment
- Kill 7 cartel AQ soldiers with a Kastov 762 with a DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic equipped in the same deployment
NOTE: players need to complete all the 3 objectives in a single deployment.
For the first objective, players must kill 7 cartels AQ Soldiers with Kastov 762 equipped with DF105 Reflex Sight. So before infil, players need to weapon and customise Kastov 762 with DF105 Reflex Sight. After that, players need to go to the Al Mazrah map (recommended) and kill 7 AQ Soldiers while being scoped in with DF105 Reflex Sight. It is required to kill with Kastov 762 with DF105 Reflex Sight on.
For the second objective, players must kill 7 cartels AQ Soldiers with Kastov 762 but this time equipped with VLK 4.0 Optic (same deployment as well). Players after getting the 7 kills with DF105 reflex Sight and collecting 3000 cash, need to make their way to the buy station. There, players need to interact with the workbench and then upgrade to Kastov 762 with VLK 4.0 Optic. Now players simply need to kill 7 enemies with this scope which should be easier as this has more range.
For the third objective, players must kill 7 AQ Cartel with a Kastov 762 but this time equipped with DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic (in the same deployment). Players after getting the 7 kills with VLK 4.0 Optic and again collecting 3000 cash, need to make their way to the nearby buy station. There, players need to interact with the workbench and then upgrade to Kastov 762 with DrexSom Prime-90 Thermal Optic this time which will cost 3000 cash. Now players simply need to kill 7 enemies with this scope which makes identifying the enemies very easy with the help of this scope.
After getting all the kills with the 3 required scopes on Kastov 762, players simply need to exfil and collect their rewards. It is not required to exfil to complete this mission. The reward for completing the mission is Kastov 762 (Contraband) and +7500 XP.
