Players Getting Banned in MW2 and Warzone 2
As we previously stated, certain players have gotten perma banned from Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. What is Causing these Perma Bans?
Several RGB controller applications, including several that come preloaded on the PC, are being flagged as “unauthorized software” by the MW2 anti-cheat. These applications include Razer Synapse 3, Corsair iCue, MSI Afterburner, and Logitech G-Hub.
Preinstalled software for computers like the HP Omen Command Center and the Alienware Command Center and other brands of control centers for your computer may also work as RGB controllers, which might lead to fake bans but this is not yet confirmed.
Since the beta launched, Activision/Blizzard has failed to adequately address this issue, which has resulted in potentially tens of thousands of bans. Some players are still trying to reverse the bans from Steam and Activision/Blizzard to have them overturned and to receive refunds.
