To get the Holy Scholarship key, you need to find and defeat an optional boss called The Jailer. The Jailer is located within the Sacred Archives, inside the Temple of Knowledge. Once you reach the Sacred Archives, go left till you enter the Temple of Knowledge. From there, take the lift all the way up and keep making your way to the top. You will have to cross several platforms, and some of them are invisible to the eye. Once you reach the top, you have to go east till you find a door that can be unlocked once you step on the plate in front of it. Do just that and you can enter the arena where the Jailer is.
