The Scroll of Darkness can be found at the Auction House in Porto Marinada. You have to keep checking back in to find a vendor that sells it. Once you do find it, you have to place the winning bid to get the item. If you have yet to unlock the Auction House, you can do so by completing the Water Gym Challenge for Gym Leader Kofu. After that, you can visit the auction house to get other rare and exquisite items.
The Scroll of Darkness is only used by Kubfu to evolve it into Single Strike Urshifu, a Fighting, and Dark Type Pokémon. Kubfu has two evolution forms, depending on which scroll you give to it. Giving the Scroll of Water to Kubfu will evolve it into RapidStrike Urshifu, a Fighting, and Water-type Pokémon. Both scrolls can be found in the Auction House. Currently, there is no way to find Kubfu or even evolve it unless a new feature is implemented in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but you can still purchase the evolution items just in case.
