To get Kindling Pals, all you have to do is find Pals who have the Flame ability. Fire type Pals can be found throughout Palworld, and the earliest Flame Pal you can find is the Foxparks. They are considered starter Pals of Palworld, and can be found around the grasslands of your starting area. They are usually at around level 4, so you should have some strong basic weapons or a level 4 or above Pal to help defeat them. Foxparks are somewhat rare to find early on, so you need to check the grasslands around the second fast travel point thoroughly. They can be found frollicking around in groups during the day and resting at night.
Once you have captured and released a Foxparks to your base, they will automatically take up any task that requires the Kindling ability. You can check which Pals offer Kindling by checking out your Palbox. Hover over the Pals and check out their Traits under their base stats. If you spot a Fire symbol, then they can use Kindling and complete Kindling Tasks. These Pals will automatically pick up any task that requires fire once you set them on your base.
