If you haven’t claimed your mount yet, you can get one by completing Jochi Khan’s questline. Once you complete it, you will unlock the horse mount. This is the first mount you will own, after which you can also unlock the wolf and the lion. Once you have your horse mount, you will notice several racing trials all across the map. These are time limited events where you have to reach the checkpoints quickly while riding your mount. The only way you can beat the timer is to dash
Luckily, the game does instruct you on how to dash on your mount. All you have to do is press and hold the left shift button to dash. You will notice a new blue colored bar at the bottom that denotes your mount’s stamina. Once it is depleted, your mount will go back to walking till it replenishes. If you are unable to dash and your mount’s stamina bar depletes beforehand, then you should check your keybinding. Sometimes the walk and dash options will be bound by the same key, so rearrange your keybindings to get the option to dash.
