Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Special Program revealed a lot of new things to look forward to in the upcoming patch. In this article we will take a look at all the new characters, weapons and artifacts in the upcoming Genshin Impact update.
New Characters in Genshin Impact 3.3
We already know we’re getting the Wanderer (or Scaramouche) and Faruzan in the upcoming patch.
Wanderer
The livestream shows us some of Wanderer’s gameplay and it looks a lot of fun. His gameplay will be focused on his mid-air prowess as an Anemo DPS. Players will have to master his mid-air combat style similar to Childe’s melee combat form- as in timings will be important. We also see a hint of his story and how it has something to do with the Tatarasuna in Inazuma.
Faruzan
Faruzan’s character is hinted to be above 100 years as she was trapped in a difficult puzzle for a century. She’s regarded as a prodigy and genius and we see this reflected in her haughty demeanour too. Her role as an Anemo support is not a simple one as mastering her too will take some time. Hoyoverse is trying new things with their bow and catalyst characters and it shows.
New Artifacts in Genshin Impact 3.3
We already knew we were getting some new artifacts for Version 3.3 and here we have the final official announcement of them and their effects.
Flower of Paradise Lost
2-Piece Set: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.
4-Piece Set: The equipping character’s Bloom, Hyper-bloom, and Burgeon reaction DMG are increased by 40%. Additionally, after the equipping character triggers Bloom, Hyper-bloom, or Burgeon, they wiIl gain another 25% bonus to the effect mentioned prior. Each stack of this lasts 10s. Max 4 stacks simultaneously. This effect can only be triggered once per second. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.
Desert Pavilion Chronicle
2-Piece Set: Anemo ATK DMG Bonus +15%.
4-Piece Set: When Charged Attacks hit opponents, the equipping character’s Normat Attack SPD will increase by 10% while Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG will increase by 40% for 15s.
New Weapons in Genshin Impact 3.3
Here we have Wanderer’s signature catalyst weapon Tulaytullah’s Remembrance and the new free 4-star event weapon Toukabou Shigure from the Akitsu Kimodameshi event. The official details about these weapons haven’t been announced but we already have a semblance of idea as to what they will be capable of from leaks.
This update will be a glorious one for Anemo mains as there are multiple things incoming to mix and match your Anemo builds again. The new Bloom-based artifact set will also unlock the full power of Bloom comps and we’ll have to see how it compares to the Gilded Dreams set.
