DDOS, or “Distributed Denial of Service,” is a hacking attack commonly used by gamers looking to cheat their way to an advantage. It’s a common problem in online gaming, and it’s surprising that there is a field upgrade that bears the DDOS name.
This small box and its function were described as follows: Activates a device that deactivates electronics and disrupts enemy sensors in the immediate area for a short time. Setting up one of these devices near your position will keep you safe from being tracked by foes while also giving you an edge against them, as they cannot see what is happening around them.
The different Field Upgrades available in Modern Warfare 2 can give you a significant advantage in multiplayer modes if used correctly. Utilities like Decoys and Dead Silence can be used to great effect to surprise and disorient your enemies.
