It’s almost time for one of the most perplexingly named Call of Duty games yet, and the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta will take place over multiple weekends for different groups, much like last year.

According to Activision, the Modern Warfare II Beta will have a comprehensive multiplayer experience that goes beyond the conventional 6v6 experience, with precisely constructed maps in various sizes and an equally impressive range of modes, advancement possibilities, and other elements.

Slide canceling has been a key skill for gameplay since the first Modern Warfare was released in 2019, but it doesn’t work the same way with October’s release of Modern Warfare 2. Here we discuss whether slide canceling is possible in Warfare 2 or not.

Can I Slide Cancel?

Content creators playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 confirmed that you couldn’t slide cancel in this game. You’ll still be able to slide, but it’s a lot more committed because you won’t be able to stop the animation; your Operator will keep sliding till the move is finished.

When you sprint and then press the crouch button in Warfare 2, you can slide but can’t stop the sliding motion as before. There’s also a dolphin dive, which appears to be dependent on your speed at the time. It may take some getting used to slide-cancel in Warfare 2, but the fans may get used to it after a time, especially if they’re using an SMG or other weapon with excellent mobility, like a sniper rifle.

Future Gaming is releasing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II next month after it completes its beta run this month. This eagerly awaited sequel will be available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on November 28th for $70 USD. It far exceeds any predecessor in both sales numbers and overall popularity – no other game matches the original series, Modern Warfare.

It was announced that the game’s beta version would come out on September 16th. Pre-orders allow customers two extra days before launch to prepare themselves for all the excitement! It has been confirmed that Modern Warfare II won’t be a remake, but an equal follow-up, just as the developers previously mentioned.
