Modern Warfare 2 Advanced UAV Bug Causes Enemies to Fade Out and Disappear
Advanced UAV is a killstreak and scorestreak which players can also get in the multiplayer mode of MW2. Advanced UAV after being activated shows the location of the enemies periodically but due to the bug sometimes you will notice that the enemies are there (you hear them or see them) but they dont show them on the map. But some dedicated players have finally come across solid proof as to what causes the bug:
- Enemy players using a standard non-suppressed weapon will fade away after firing the weapon
- Enemy players with suppressed weapons will be seen on the map after firing the weapon
- This is even possible with pistols as well. If the enemy is using suppressed pistols they will be constantly shown on the map with the periodic tick but if the enemy has a non-suppressed version of the pistol they will be shown once and then they will fade away until the next pulse hit them.

This bug makes what the suppressed weapons should be (not shown on the map after taking a shot) and reverse the logic. This might even make the advantage of using the Advanced UAV towards enemies as the location might work against you.
