To get Wool Fabric, you first need to collect wool and turn it into wool thread. You can get wool from sheep, and sheep are found all over the grass and snow biomes. Killing sheep will not give you wool, but rather you should pet them and get wool in return. This can be a bit tricky, as sheep are generally shy and will run away when you get close to them. The best thing you can do to win their trust is to drop their favorite food on the floor close to them and wait for them to approach. If you have any fruits or berries on you, you can drop those and stand back. Once they start nibbling on the food, quickly swoop in and pet them. This will drop one wool. Continue this process till you have gathered enough wool to craft wool thread.
Take all your wool back to the Spinning Wheel to craft wool thread. You can get one wool thread per wool piece you use. You will need 5 wool threads to craft 1 wool fabric. After gathering enough wool threads, make your way to the Loom to craft Wool Fabric.
