Getting parts and scraps is easy. The easiest way to acquire parts is by salvaging old weapons. If you have any weapons that you or your mercs don’t use, you can select them and convert it to scrap and parts. You can do this by navigating to the inventory, right clicking on the weapon, and selecting the scrap option. You can sell the scraps in the Fleatown store for cash, or use the parts to repair or modify any existing weapon.
Another way to get scraps and parts is by scavenging in the overworld. There are a few hidden stashes in various locations, and having a merc with high mechanics skills can help you spot them. If you send Wolf or Livewire to scavenge, they will have better luck finding these hidden stashes. Unlock them to get a few parts to use later on.
