The only tactical pet in the latest update is Merlin. This companion pet belongs to BlackCell Operator Arthur, but you can equip Merlin with any operator of your liking. Having a tactical pet can help you land the Finishing Move attack on your enemy. There is one advantage of owning tactical pets, that they cannot be harmed by other players. But of course, you cannot harm other tactical pets in the same way. They will not fight, but land the final attack to finish the enemy. The Finishing Move attack will let Merlin bark and bite the enemy, whether it is AI or a player.

To use Merlin, follow the steps below.

  • Launch the game
  • Open the Customize Operator tab
  • Select the Operator
  • Click on the square icon
  • Under the Finishing Move tab, select the Bark and Bite option.

Currently you can use Merlin in the Season 5 update, but there might be added companion pets in future updates.
