In Forza Horizon 6, the 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R is one of the collectible cars known as barn finds. Before you can add this to your garage, you’ll need to unlock the Barn Find and figure out where the vehicle is hidden. This guide covers the steps you will need to take to locate the Nissan Skyline barn as well as when you’ll be able to get the restored vehicle.

Unlock the Barn Find
To unlock the Nissan Skyline GT-R, you will first have to progress through the game and earn new wristbands. The Barn Finds will appear on the map as you keep earning new wristbands. Each new wristband you get can unlock additional Barn Find vehicles, including the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Once the specific Barn Find appears on your map, you can start looking for the Nissan Skyline GT-R.
Find the Barn
On the map, you have to locate the Barn Find area and then find a way to get there. You will need to search for the small side road leading to the barn. Once you find the road, continue on it until you reach a small dirt path branching off to the left.
Follow the dirt path until you arrive at the barn. After entering the barn, you will automatically start the barn cutscene and discover the car.
The Barn Find Vehicle
The vehicle found in the barn is a 1971 Nissan Skyline GT-R or Hakosuka Skyline which Eugene identifies during the cutscene as being special and that his mentor had put considerable effort in working on and racing this vehicle. The dialogue also explains that the vehicles were built in order to be very competitive with modifications being made to enhance the vehicle’s handling and aerodynamics. The overfenders are a distinct styling feature for this model.
Wait for Restoration
The Nissan Skyline GT-R will be included in your Barn Finds after you have found the barn. You will not be able to drive the Skyline GT-R right away though. Like the other Barn Find vehicles, it takes time to prepare and restore the vehicle.
After waiting for a couple of in-game days, the vehicle will have completed the restoration process, and the Nissan Skyline GT-R will become available to you.
