It is required to find the three Lava Orbs to pass the Flames that block the Furnace Room. As the Lava Orbs are dispersed in various areas of the basement of the Patterned Factory, it may take some time to locate them. This guide covers all three Lava Orb locations and explains how to reach each one.
All 3 Lava Orb locations in Central Resonant
In the Central Resonant Patterned Factory’s basement, there are three lava orbs that must be destroyed. When all three are destroyed, the fire blocking the way to the Furnace Room will be extinguished.
First Lava Orb
First Lava Orb is close to the central hub area. After ascending the stairs in the main hallway, you should turn back and look at the wall on the other side. This orb is fixed to the pipe opposite to the stairs and can be easily smashed.
Second Lava Orb
Head down from the top of the central staircase, turn left, and go into the archway via the pathway. Make your way through the tunnel without touching the steam vents, and at the fork take the left path and continue moving through the rooms until you come to the big room with the cooling pond.
Eliminate the enemies and move toward the tunnel that’s situated on the bottom right corner of the room. The second Lava Orb is hanging on the pipe near the tunnel’s entrance. Destroy it to disable another source of heat.
Third Lava Orb
Go back to the main hub area and turn right from the top of the stairs. Walk through the door that lies halfway through the passage and keep going until you reach the large room. After killing the enemies in the room, go up towards the elevated platform in the back and follow the passage further into the maintenance tunnels. Turn right once the passage forks.
In time, you will come across another burning room. Look in the direction of the elevated passage opposite to the entry. The third Lava Orb will be on one of the pipes there. Blow it up to accomplish your objective. Upon blowing up all the Lava Orbs, the fire blocking the Furnace Room will vanish. You can now safely enter the Furnace Room to reach the final leg of the quest, which is to defeat The Deserter Resonant boss.
