You can now unlock perks and boosts by owning the right gear. Gear like boots, gloves, vests can give certain perks and boosts to your overall attributes. To get the Overkill perk, you need to unlock and equip either the Gunner vest or the Overkill vest. To unlock these vests, you need to complete certain objectives.
- Gunner Vest – Reach overall rank 20
- Overkill Vest – Reach overall rank 50
To find your new gear, make your way to the Weapons tab in the customization menu to find and equip the vests. The Gunner vest is easier to obtain than its counterpart, but you should aim to get the Overkill vest and equip it as soon as you can. You can grind and level up by playing the multiplayer modes available. Each level you rank up to, you can unlock new items that will be added to your inventory.
