The game is still in early access and features various modes, including the survival mode, where you must survive hoards of enemies and then take on the boss. Defeating the boss lets you clear the island and move to the next biome. The game also features a wide variety of weapons that you can unlock. To unlock new weapons in Crab Champions, you need keys. Crab Champions – How to Unlock New Weapons
With all the shooting involved in the game, you should always look for new weapons and armor; keys dropped from bosses allow you to do that.
To get new weapons in Crab Champions, you need to farm keys dropped from bosses. You will find the Key Totem (Blue) on the base island (starting island). After collecting four keys, interacting with the key totem will unlock a new weapon. The key Totem will award you with a random weapon. To unlock more new weapons, you will need to farm keys.
The only way to get keys is to defeat bosses in the game. High-level bosses, such as levels 30 and 60, will drop more keys than the others. The best way to farm the keys is to keep looping. You will encounter the bosses at levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60.
The game has a wide range of weapons that can drop and more will likely be added as the game is updated. Do note that the game is still in early access, so much more content must be added. The weapons we know of so far are Cluster Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Blade Launcher, Orb Launcher, Mini Gun, Auto Shotgun, Dual Shotguns, Crossbow, Sniper, Auto Rifle, Burst Pistol, and Dual Pistols.
Some of the best weapons that you would want to get are:
- Sniper – The sniper is one of the best, if not the best. It deals tons of damage and is great for speed runs.
- Mini Gun – The Mini Gun is not the best in terms of damage, but it comes with a large magazine and is very fast. it also goes will almost all builds and perks.
- Burst Pistol – It’s great for accuracy and deals great damage.
- Blade Launcher – The weapon comes with peace and is excellent for crown control. The gun can hit multiple enemies at a time, which is excellent for clearing out hoards of crabs.
