If you look at the chests, you will see the three blue runes on them. You will have to memorize the rune pattern. Around the area, you will also find three pots with the runes. All you have to do is to break the pots in the correct order with your axe. Sometimes the pots are hard to find, so you will have to look around for a bit till you come across them. Breaking all three pots will open up the chest for you.
Opening the blue rune chests is easy enough, as some Nornir Chests have more complex puzzles, such as hitting bells or striking levers. Most of them require a lot of time and patience to plan it out.
Most of the Nornir Chests contain either an Idunn Apple or the Horn of Blood Mead. Having three Idunn Apples will permanently increase the health bar while having three Horns of Blood Mead will increase your rage meter.
