Step 4: Then, on the Windows Search key, select New -> DWORD (32-BIT) Value. 

Step 5: Name the new value as ‘AllowCortana’.

Step 6: Change the value of the AllowCortana key to 0 by double-clicking it.

Step 7: To save the changes, click OK. 

Step 8: Restart Your Device to apply changes.

Remove Cortana from Taskbar

Step 1: Click in the empty space in the Windows 10 Taskbar.

Step 2: Then, click on Cortana and select ‘Hidden’.

Step 3: Your Cortana will be Hidden

To restore the Cortana icon in the Taskbar, right-click it, select Cortana, and then Show Cortana icon.

Remove Cortana Using Task Manager

Step 1: Open the Task Manager in Windows 10, by pressing Ctrl + Shift + ESC.

Step 2: In Task Manager, navigate to the Startup tab.

Step 3: Then, right-click on Cortana.
