Spotting Supply Boxes
Supply Drops are rather simple to locate if you know what you’re searching for. When you take up Ethel’s hero quest in chapter three, you will be exposed to Supply Drops. After meeting with Ethel, you are entrusted with following down a Supply Drop off in the distance.
Supply Drops are identified by red smoke that streaks out into the air. Make your way over to the red smoke if you see it to discover the Supply Drop. When you’re near the drop, hit the ZR button to see where it is.
How to Open a Supply Drop
Supply Drops include a wealth of helpful equipment. You will usually receive equippable goods and crafting components when you open one. Supply Drops can also drop uncommon goods such as Nopon Coins, so keep an eye on where they land.
You may interact with a Supply Drop by walking up to it and pressing the A button. This will trigger a brief cutscene in which two of your characters open the package. Keep an eye out for opponents who will undoubtedly be around the Supply Drop. You must remove them before you can open the package.
