If you want Wyll to join your team but haven’t yet figured out the process, let me tell you, you will first encounter Wyll after you enter the forest from the initial crash site. As you progress, you will eventually reach a location where you find Goblins attacking a group of Adventurers who are at the gate of a Safe Heaven. As this fight begins, Wyll will jump into it to save the adventurers. Participate in the fight and wash out the Goblins.

Though it is the first encounter, you can’t recruit Wyll during your first encounter. You must go to the Emerald Grove Training Area to meet Wyll again. The training area is not challenging to find. As you enter the Emerald Grove, progress straight to find it. At the Training area, you will find Wyll training his young trainees fighting with Sword. Approach him, and he will talk about a quest where players must hunt down a hellspawn. This is the point where you can offer him to join your team. He will agree, and you can have him on your team.
