The Y’Berion chest is one of the many locked chests that can be found in the Sleeper Temple in Gothic 1 Remake. You have to solve the lockpick puzzle to open it, but opening it will be worth the effort. Since the temple is free of patrolling NPCs during Chapter 3, you can take your time without worrying about being interrupted. This guide will tell you where to find the chest and how to unlock it.

How to Open the Y’Berion’s Chest

The chest of Y’Berion is found in the Sleeper Temple, which is located in the Swamp Camp area. If you wish to open the chest of Y’Berion, the first step would be to turn Plate 3 five times in the left direction. You will then need to move Plate 4 in the right direction three times and turn Plate 2 in the left direction four times. Following that, you have to turn Plate 3 in the left direction four times and move Plate 1 in the right direction twice.

The next set of actions includes rotating Plate 4 twice in the right direction and moving Plate 5 four times in the left direction. You should then turn Plate 4 in the right direction twice and rotate Plate 1 four times in the right direction.

For the last set of moves, you will have to move Plate 2 in the left direction six times and Plate 4 in the right direction six times. Finally, you should turn Plate 3 in the left direction three times and Plate 5 in the left direction three times.

Do note that this method of lock picking has been done on the basis of the basic Lockpicking skill. If your Lockpicking skill is already mastered, the lock mechanics would change; hence, this method wouldn’t work for you.
