If you’re exploring Mortal Shell 2 and come across a locked dungeon door or the closed Citadel gate, you’ll need to find the right items and complete a few simple steps to open them. The Feeding Grounds requires you to destroy three Golden Flower Tombstones, while the Citadel Gate can only be opened after defeating the Bloodcursed Lithopod and collecting the Citadel Gate Lever.
How to Open Graveyard Locked Dungeon Door
Feeding Grounds is one of the dungeons that can be accessed from the northeastern region of Stones of Remembrance. The dungeon entrance opens when you smash three Golden Flower Tombstones that can be found near the graveyard that surrounds the area.
There are three tombstones, all of which emit a glow. One tombstone can be found in the middle of the graveyard, while another can be seen to the left of the steps leading to the dungeon entrance. The other tombstone can be found near the northern side of the area on the upper path. Break all three tombstones, and the dungeon door will open.
Citadel Gate Lever Location in Mortal Shell 2
From the Beacon, head in a southeast direction towards the small area of water shown on your map. Follow the path downhill, and you’ll soon come across a waterfall with a pool of water nearby. This is where you’ll find the Bloodcursed Lithopod boss, along with several smaller worm-like enemies.
Before taking on the boss, it’s a good idea to clear out the smaller enemies first. The Bloodcursed Lithopod has several moves that are common with the smaller enemies found in the area. One of the moves that can be dangerous is when it leans back and jumps towards the player. This move can easily be parried or deflected using your Seal and gives an opportunity for a counterattack. The Bloodcursed Lithopod will drop the Citadel Gate Lever once defeated.
How to Use the Citadel Gate Lever
After getting the Citadel Gate Lever, return to the Gloomshade Grove Beacon and move towards the west. Proceed along the path and arrive at the walls of the Citadel. Continue moving and find the main gate. On the walls of the Citadel gate, there is a mechanism where you can place the Citadel Gate Lever. This will help you unlock the main gate of the Citadel.
