In Cult of the Lamb, the cornerstone to a successful cult is follower faith and loyalty. But, on paper, faith and loyalty may appear to be very similar; what is the difference? To create the most powerful cult possible, you must understand and strengthen both follower faith and loyalty.
To complicate matters further, some acts you can undertake to benefit yourself, such as many sorts of Rituals, may actively cause Followers to lose Faith, thus knowing how to use this to your advantage with a rapid solution might fix these short crises before they become out of hand. Fortunately, there is no shortage of great and small things that can help Faith recover:
The difference between faith and loyalty can be a bit hazy, despite the fact that Cult of the Lamb does a lot of things correctly. Simply put, faith is the circular pool that is constantly draining in the upper left corner of your screen. If your followers lose faith in you, they will disagree with you, which could lead to more followers leaving.
On the other hand, loyalty is the unique progress bar each follower has. That follower will give you approximately 25 devotion once the loyalty metre is full, which is something entirely different. Recall that devotion is gathered and used to open new structures for your cult.
How to Increase Faith in Cult of The Lamb
Now that you recognize the difference between faith and loyalty, you’ll want to know how to quickly increase both. Here’s How:
Sermons
Preaching sermons and performing rituals are the simplest ways to increase both faith and loyalty at the same time. You can increase followers’ faith and loyalty by engaging in both of these activities. Every day, you can hold a sermon in your Temple, which should never be overlooked. It not only increases the loyalty of your flock and grants you more powers to use in your Crusades, but it also raises everyone’s Faith by a reasonable amount, and if you choose the Devotee Doctrine, your Faith will be raised even more.
Building Decorations
If you’re out of other options, building a variety of decorations can dramatically increase your Faith in a short period of time, despite the fact that it may seem insignificant. If you choose the Sacral Architecture or the Belief in False Idols Doctrines, building new locations will increase your Followers’ Faith slightly. If you assist them in building it, you’ll gain additional Faith for being a leader who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Unfortunately, you cannot mass produce one kind of decoration and obtain Faith; however, as long as you assist in construction, you will still receive some, even if it is a duplicate.
Blessings
You should always try to perform the daily ritual of blessing your followers. Each follower can speak to them to receive one blessing per day, which will slightly boost their Faith in addition to their Loyalty. That is a lot of faith to quickly rise up in times of crisis spread across 3, 5, or 10. If you can, try to do this every day because you also want more devoted followers
Complete Crusade Missions
It should go without saying that no one likes a loser as a cult leader. It makes sense that defeating the miniboss or boss of a region will be greeted with increased Faith upon your return since each time you die, faith in your abilities will be shaken upon your return to the cult.
Get More Followers
Only having new members join is something followers love more than being in your cult. They can give your faith a good boost if you have the opportunity to add some new followers to your group, either from Helob or through a follower request.
And by doing so, you can make sure that the level of faith and loyalty among your followers is at its highest.
