Besides giving the characters Nectar, Twin Lures, and Ambrosia, you can also give some bath salts to invite them to the hot springs. If you don’t have the hot spring unlocked, you can get one if you have the Rite of Vapor-Cleansing Incantation, which gets unlocked after spending a few nights in the game. This requires Moly x2, N.Shade x2, and Lotus x2. Craft the hot spring within the Crossroads to unlock Bath Salts. You can then purchase bath salts whenever you visit the Wretched Broker, and it will cost 50 Bones

Once you have the bath salts, you can hand it over to any of the characters to invite them over. But if they reject it, it means you haven’t yet advanced the relationship. Keep giving them Nectar to build up your relationship. Some characters will require something more than Nectar, such as Twin Lures or Ambrosia.
