The Veiled Threat is a legendary auto rifle that deals Stasis damage. Here we will see how to get the Veiled Threat and god roll in Destiny 2
How to Unlock Veiled Threat
As mentioned above, you need to play Episode: Echoes and participate in the activities here to unlock the Veiled Threat. It is part of the Episode: Echoes Gear Set, so you have a random chance of getting this weapon, among other armaments added here.
PvP and PvE God Roll for Veiled Threat
- Barrel: Arrowhead Brake/ Fluted Barrel
- Magazine: Accurised Rounds/ Flared Magwell
- Trait 1: Threat Detector/ Fragile Focus/ To the Pain
- Trait 2: Headstone/ Desperate Measures
- Origin Trait: Radiolaria Transposer
- Weapon Mod: Counterbalance Stock/ Backup Mag
The best barrel that will bring out the attributes of the Veiled Threat is the Arrowhead Brake or the Fluted Barrel. An Arrowhead Brake controls recoil and increases handling speed, while a fluted barrel increases handling and stability. Flared Magwell is great for faster reloading while also offering increased stability. Or you can go for Accurised Rounds for increased Range. Threat Detector further increases reload, stability, and handling when enemies are nearby, while Fragile Focus grants a bonus range if your shield is broken.
The Pain increases handling and aim assist the more damage you take. If a target is killed under precision final blows, Headstone creates a Statis crystal over the body’s location. Desperate Measures grants bonus damage and this damage bonus can be stacked if using melee and grenades. Radiolaria Transposer reduces the target into Radiolaria fluid. If you want to reduce recoil deviation, go for Counterbalance Stock, or else go for Backup Mag for added magazine space
Alternate God Roll
- Barrel: Chambered Compensator
- Magazine: Alloy Magazine/ Steady Rounds
- Trait 1: Attrition Orb
- Trait 2: Encore
- Origin Trait: Radiolaria Transposer
- Weapon Mod: Quick Access Sling/ Freehand Grip
Both Chambered Compensator and Steady Rounds complement each other by providing increased stability, but the Compensator decreases handling speed and the Steady Rounds decreases range slightly. Alloy Magazine is great for faster reloading when the clip is empty. Attrition Orbs create Orbs of Power whenever you sustain damage, while Encore grants stacks of accuracy, stability, and range after final blows.
