Tier 6 weapons can now be crafted at your crafting station. All you have to do is head over to your crafting station, select a weapon, and go through the tier levels. You will see that Tier 6 is available, and it will also show you all the parts required for crafting it. Most of the time, for most Tier 6 weapons, you need to use Legendary Parts. If you don’t want to use legendary parts, there are mods available that will remove the usage of legendary parts for crafting basic weapons only
It is not necessary to upgrade all your weapons to Tier 6. You have to go through the list and see which weapons or gear will offer you the most damage. Sometimes, a weapon at Tier 1 would have the best stats than a weapon at Tier 5. So keeping that in mind, just go for the weapons that you usually use and weapons that offer good damage per upgrade. You can also upgrade your armor this way to get better boosts and increase your defense
