The only way you can farm Thalamus is after you have entered through Chaos gates. These gates only appear after the first boss fight and after exploring Erebus. You can identify Chaos gates from the black hole on the ground emitting smoke. You can also pay gold at a Well of Charon to summon a chaos gate. Whichever option you pick, before you enter it, you should have a Silver Shovel. This will help you farm Origin Seeds from the dirt. Now that you are ready, get through the gates. You will take some damage, but you can still get through
You can then collect the Origin Seeds and plant them at The Crossroads. If you don’t have any soil to plant on, you have to use the “Flourishing Soil” Incantation for that. Now all you have to do is wait for it to grow. It will take 7 Whiles, and you will receive two Thalamus per seed. Sometimes, you can collect Origins Seeds by completing quests or talking to certain characters. Chaos offers a seed after you have reached the surface successfully.
