How to Get Powedermelon Seeds in Stardew Valley 1.6
Dig up the ground
The first place you can check is the ground. Look around for Artifact Spots that resemble worms on the ground to get rare seeds. There is another type of area to look out for while investigating the ground, and you can find Powdermelon Seeds buried there. Look out for tufts of grass that look like they are swaying in the wind. Use your hoe to dig them up to get a better chance of collecting Powdermelon Seeds. You have to remember that you can only find the seeds during Winter, so you have to check the snowy ground to find the seeds.
Inside treasure chests and crates
Other places you can check for powdermelon seeds are inside crates within The Mines and inside Golden Fishing Treasure Chests. The golden treasure chests only appear between Fall 21 and Winter 20
From vendors
There is only one vendor who has the Powdermelon Seeds in stock. You have to visit the racoon and complete a tree stump quest for him first. This quest triggers during spring, and while completing the questline, he will offer items for trade. Give him two pinecones in exchange for a bag of Powdermelon Seeds.
How to Get Powdermelon in Stardew Valley 1.6
You can use the new Powdermelon Seeds in your farm to grow Powdermelon. You can then either take the Powdermelon to the Seed Maker to get more seeds, or sell them by tossing them into the shipping bin.
