Getting the Phoenix pet in Crimson Desert can be difficult at first, but it’s very easy once you know where to go and what to do. It follows you around and even picks up loot, making it both cool and useful. In this guide, we’ll show you how to find, defeat, and unlock the Phoenix. How To Get Phoenix
First, make your way to the Crimson Desert zone, located above the letter “S”. Once there, search for the Abyss Nexus that is near. The Phoenix only appears during the daytime, so if it’s night, use the nearby camp to skip time.
The phoenix is to be found in the Crimson Desert zone, which is south of the Trader’s Expanse on the map. Besides, there is an Abyss Nexus not far from here, located to the east of the Merchant’s Resting Place. This place is great because it allows reloading the location, which increases the chances of finding the bird. Then just wait and keep an eye on the sky. The Phoenix will eventually start flying around the area.
A useful tip is getting under the bird, aiming at it carefully and making all the hits stack until shooting with a charged attack. Most likely, you will have to try several times before successfully bringing the bird down. You can also use frost abilities to freeze it mid-air for a few seconds, giving you time to land more hits.
Use your flying ability to chase it down, and attack with arrows (explosive arrows work especially well). Once it’s defeated, you must skin it. Be careful, though, because the body is still fiery and can burn you if you’re not paying attention.
How To Summon Phoenix
Next, travel to Witchwoods. Once there, select the crafting tab from the Abyss Gear and find the special items tab located at the far-right side. Craft the Phoenix item and use it from your inventory. After using it, summon the Phoenix pet from your inventory. After that, you can call upon your Phoenix pet whenever you want. The Phoenix pet will follow you around and collect all your loot for you.
