To collect an Ostrich, you need to first find and retrieve its egg. Ostriches can be found around the Wasteland region of the map. This is the desert region found in the northeast section. Since this is a late game area, you need to level up and get the required armor and gear. Awareness Level above 35 and owning Iron weapons will help you overcome the perils of the desert
Next, you need to locate ostriches and kill them to collect the egg from their nest. The egg is extremely fragile and you can risk breaking it. Make your way quickly to the mysterious portal and teleport back to your base. Place the egg near a working heater or campfire to warm it up, then after the chick is born, place it in an appropriate pen and feed it to make it stronger. You will also need a saddle to help ride it, which can be crafted using 20 x premium leather, 15 x fine cotton, 10 x cotton ropes, and 5 x iron ingots.
