To find Hallow Wood, you can visit any of the two locations; Silverlight Hills and Hallowed Mountains. Look around for trees that have thicker trunks than the usual trees here, so you can go around and chop them up. You will know you have bumped into a Hallow Tree when you get notified upon chopping it up. You can also check your inventory to know if you are gathering Hallow Wood or not. Having an ax can make your work quicker, as it will give you a 25% speed boost while farming Hallow Wood in V Rising.
Now that you have Hallow Wood, you can visit your Sawmill and grind it down to get planks and oil. You will need 40x Hallow Wood to get 4x Planks and 1x Oil.
