Sons of the Forest is a survival horror game that amps up surviving and horrors. Surviving means making traps, acquiring weapons, food and water. And it does so not only in case of the game and its atmosphere that includes dark tunnels, that will traumatize people with claustrophobia, monsters that will give you nightmares, hordes of hungry cannibals, sharks that will dig out that buried fear from the days of Subnautica and a lot more, but also with its quests. That being said, who would mind a little bit of radio music amidst the suspense and hordes of cannibals and monsters that send chills down your spine? Surely I would not.

Sons of the Forest is a difficult and terrifying game where players must continuously be on the lookout for mutations and cannibals. Players can find relief in the game’s radios despite the tense nature of the continuous fear of peril. Players can listen to songs while temporarily escaping the game’s atrocities by turning on the radios. Even though the radios offer brief respite from the strain of life, the game is still tense and heart-pounding, keeping players on alert at all times.

The expansive open-world landscape in Sons of the Forest, which is four times larger than that of The Forest, is one of its most thrilling aspects. The game is dotted with radios that can be located in a variety of places to make navigating this vast terrain more fun. These radios can be found all over the world, in places like deserted beaches and camps, snowy tundras, and even a tunnel with one embedded in the roof. These radios provide a momentary break from the challenging survival aspects of the game, allowing players to tune in and relax before continuing on their adventure.
