Before you start making Reinforcement Planks, we have to unlock the recipe. This recipe is not unlocked by default. To get Reinforced Planks, you will need to find and beat Vincent the Frostbringer. Vincent is a level 40 V Boss, so you should increase your gear level if you haven’t before taking him on. Once he is down, you will get a plethora of rewards, including the recipe for the Reinforced Planks.
Once you have the recipe, you can now get Reinforced Planks through two ways- Craft it using necessary ingredients or Raid. If you want to craft Reinforced Plank, you need to collect Wooden Planks and Iron Ingot. Placing them into the Sawmill will give you Reinforced Planks. You can automatically unlock the sawmill after completing the tutorial and doing the story missions. You will then have the option to build a sawmill in your Castle from the building screen. Once you have placed that, you will need some lumber to turn it into regular planks and sawdust. You can get lumber from chopping down trees in the wild.
Iron Ingots are a bit challenging to get. You have to be ready to fight Blood Bosses to get Iron. If you are prepared for the fight, visit The Haunted Iron Mine in the Dunley Farmlands to find Iron. This is the best place to get plenty of Raw Iron which you can then place into the Furnace to make Iron Ingot.
If this process doesn’t suit your style, you can try raiding suitable locations like Bastion of Dunley to get Reinforced Planks. Collecting items takes time and effort, if you are not ready to put so much effort to get a single item, raiding is the best option. However, the drops are random, so we can’t assure that you will get your desired item.
