How to Fix Warhammer 40K Darktide Empty Ticket Error

Warhammer 40K: Darktide – The latest action-adventure game is now available for players who pre-ordered the game. However, the game is still in the beta period and its final launch is on November 30. Unfortunately, many players are reporting that they are encountering an ‘Empty Ticket’ error in WH40K Darktide.

This error is pretty frustrating because when players search for a match to play the game, they throw it away from the lobby after a while. Furthermore, it doesn’t only happen in any particular queue but occurs in all subsequent queues players attempt. Well, if you are running into an empty ticket error or a black screen, or an endless loading time, then the guide will help you to mitigate these issues.

Fixing Warhammer 40K Darktide Empty Ticket Error

Many WH40K Darktide gamers are reporting that the ‘Empty ticket” error triggers when they attempt to join a lobby. Luckily, there are a few things you can try to fix this error.

1. One of the best and most straightforward solutions is to simply restart your game and you won’t see that error again.

2. If that doesn’t work, try this next method. Launch the game, go to the settings tab, highlight the ‘Worker Threads’ option and change it from its default settings which will usually be 13. You need to reduce the thread’s numbers and it will give you better frame rates as well as stability.

That’s all for this guide. At the time of writing this post, we have come across only these methods to fix the issue. If that doesn’t work for you then wait until the developers release a final game on November 30. And fortunately, Fatshark has already flagged this issue on their “Known issues” list so they will surely find out the solutions.

As you know very well, the game is still in the pre-order beta and such issues hopefully will get resolved after the final launch.
