How to Fix Fortnite Checking Epic Services Queue Error

How to Fix Fortnite Checking Epic Services Queue Error

Fortnite is one of the widely played battle royale games released back in 2017. In December, Epic Games launched a new chapter with new characters, mechanics, weapons, and a brand-new island. However, a number of players are reporting that they are running into an error “Checking Epic services queue”. It is one of the common error messages in Fortnite because the same error was reported earlier as well by many players. It appears when players attempt to log into the game. If you are also experiencing the same error message, here is how you can fix it with some simple and quick workarounds.

Fix Fortnite Checking Epic Services Queue Error

Regrettably, there is no sure shot way to fix the “Checking Epic services queue” in Fortnite because the issue is happening due to some issues on the Fortnite or Epic server side and that is because too many players are attempting to log onto the server at the same time. However, there are a few things you can try to get rid of this error.

1. First of all, try restarting your game to refresh the queue on the game’s server. With enough luck, when you relaunch the game again, the error should be eliminated.

2. Even after restarting the game, if the error still persists, make sure there is no issue on the Fortnite servers. For this, you have to check the current server status of Fortnite. You can check our guide on how to check the Fortnite server status.

In case the servers are down due to any reason, the error will be gone once their services are back online.

3. If you could not find any issues on the server side, make sure your internet connection is fast and stable. You can also try restarting your internet router/modem and check if that makes any difference.

If none of the solutions work, then don’t panic as the Fortnite Status page recently acknowledged the issue.

As you can see, their team is already investigating the matter where players are unable to log into Fortnite due to “Checking Epic services queue”. So, we will have its hotfix very soon, hopefully in the upcoming patch.
