Once you have collected all the necessary materials to craft a heirloom, you can head into the Heirloom section of your camp and use the Blacksmith to craft your preferred gear. The first time you craft it, you will receive the common rarity of the Heirloom. To upgrade it, you can check the Upgrade section of the crafting menu to see how much materials and what type of materials is required. You can always come here after you have procured the required materials to upgrade your preferred Heirloom. There are four tiers to a Heirloom, namely Common, Uncommon, Magic, and Epic
Now, once your heirloom reaches Uncommon and beyond, you can find enchantment slots. Here, you can equip certain enchantments to further grant abilities to your heirloom. To add an enchantment, press the + icon underneath the Upgrade option under Heirloom. You can see how many slots you can use. Select the slot to open the Enchantment menu and select an enchantment from it. It will cost you certain crafting materials depending on what rarity of enchantment you wish to place. Below is the cost for each enchantment rarity
- Green Enchantments – 100x Ilmenite Ore.
- Blue Enchantments – 50x Refined Steel Ore.
- Purple Enchantments – 100x Refined Steel Ore.
You can get the above crafting materials by dismantling gear or scavenging chests and enemy drops. You can change enchantments anytime to suit your build
