If you check the bar beneath your Super, you will notice two smaller bars. One bar represents Light, while the other represents Dark. If both of these meters fill up, you can unlock Transcendence. To fill up each of the bars, you need to use certain weapon types and abilities.
- The Light bar gets filled if you deal Solar, Arc, or Void damage
- The Dark bar gets filled if you deal Stasis or Strand damage
- Kinetic weapons and abilities help fill up both bars by a little bit, or fill up one bar to a decent level if the other bar is already full
Once you notice that both bars are full, they will merge to form one new bar that glows pink. Activate the Transcendence ability and gain several perks like increased damage, damage resistance, and increased ability recharge rate. You will also receive a unique grenade solely based on your Prismatic class. You can utilize the new Transcendence ability to spam all your skills for efficient damage. If you manage to kill targets while under Transcendence, you can refund a small amount of Transcendent energy back to your Transcendent meter.
