Pokémon Scarlet & Violet has been out for about two weeks now, and you will be able to play the game on your Nintendo Switch. It has been almost two weeks since the release, and players are still hard at work trying to collect all the available Pokemon in the vast map of Paldea. There are a lot of new Pokemon as well as returning familiar faces which you will be able to obtain. In this guide, we will take you through the process of how to find Barboach in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Where to Find Barboach in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
With all the Pokemon in the game, it can be difficult for everyone to keep track. You will also be able to unlock more forms of the Pokemon that you do have by evolving them. Sometimes you will need extra items to evolve them, and sometimes it will happen automatically as you increase their level. Sometimes you will need to catch the base form of the Pokemon so you can evolve it.

If you want to catch Barboach, you are in the right place. You will be able to find it only in a specific section of the map, which is marked out below on the Pokedex in yellow. As this is a Water and Ground Type Pokemon, it is found in limited areas.
The first thing that you need to do if you want to catch Barboach in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is to make your way to its habitat location which can be in the south, southeast, southwest, northwest, and northeast side of Paldea. Make sure to look into the water bodies as it is a Water Type Pokemon along with Ground.
An area you can try patrolling is the ponds of South Province (Area Three). Once you spot a Barboach, all you need to do is approach it to begin the battle. It’s quite a weak Pokemon, so you can throw a Quick Ball straight away in order to capture it.
