Once you reach the gated area with the rune symbol on it, memorize it as you have to locate the exact rune symbol in your surroundings. To find the symbol, turn around and head back. You will spot floating red lines in the air. Go a bit back behind the large boulder and turn around. Try to align the floating red lines in the air so they form the symbol

You can align the lines by moving your character and their vision so that they slowly start forming the symbol you saw on the gate. After that, focus on the symbol so that it aligns with the outline that appears in your vision. If aligned perfectly, you have solved this puzzle and can now gain entry to the next area.
