The Orc Cemetery in Gothic 1 Remake contains numerous concealed passages, hidden treasures, and rewards that may be difficult to find if you do not take the time to fully explore the location. As a result, you may lose out on valuable items and equipment if you hurry through the place. This guide will help you identify important things to look for, including hidden levers, loot locations, and chests located behind the final chamber.

Explore Every Hidden Path and Lever

While walking through the cemetery, you will want to loot all the corpses you see along the way. Once you execute a loot there will no longer be a corpse to loot from as it will burn away. The corpses you can loot in this area contain more than just Orcish Burials Amulets, so be sure to check and loot every corpse in this area.

Keep an eye out for metal gratings, crawlspaces, and hidden passageways throughout the cemetery. If you explore these areas you can find useful items such as potions and scrolls. There are also levers on walls that will open metal gratings in the area for more loot. Also, remember to collect any plants you find while exploring.

Loot the Chests Before the Final Area

You will find the locked chest at the uppermost level on the left, just before entering the final chamber of the cemetery. This chest contains several Mana Potions, a Fear Scroll, and other helpful items; however, it needs a combination to open.

Here is the appropriate order for the lockpicking sequence tested without using any lockpicking skill upgrades. Plate 1 is at the backmost side; Plate 6 is at the front.

  • Plate 2: Turn right once
  • Plate 3: Turn left twice
  • Plate 1: Turn left twice
  • Plate 4: Turn left three times
  • Plate 5: Turn right six times
  • Plate 6: Turn left five times
  • Plate 3: Turn left four times
  • Plate 4: Turn left once
  • Plate 5: Turn right once
  • Plate 1: Turn left once
  • Plate 6: Turn left twice

Nearby, there’s another chest that’s already unlocked. It contains a Healing Potion and the Ring of Warrior Power, making it well worth looting before continuing.

Don’t Miss the Final Rewards

The last area with the Sword of Fear will come up after you’ve opened both chests, so be sure to search all possible routes before continuing on by unlocking all levers and collecting all loot found in the Orc Cemetery before you leave.
